Made Together is our monthly spotlight on the incredible clients we collaborate with, and the custom projects we create to help bring their brands to life. Every project tells a story, and we’re proud to share how these partnerships turn ideas into something tangible and impactful beyond the print.

THE ALOE VERA ALLIGATOR

This month, we caught up with local artist Matt Hill, the creative force behind AloeGator Arts, a brand he officially launched in 2024. While Matt has always enjoyed making art as a personal passion, he recently decided to turn that passion into something more, bringing his bold, imaginative designs to life through wearable merch and selling them at conventions and events across the country.

For Matt, it’s about more than just selling shirts. He thrives on the sense of community found in these spaces, where artists and vendors come together to share their work, exchange ideas, and support one another. Through his travels, he’s built meaningful connections with fellow creatives, some of whom have grown into trusted collaborators and close friends.

Matt has already made an impressive mark at events in the Everett community and throughout the greater Seattle/Tacoma area, including Everett Pride, GeekFest West, Grit City Comic Show, and Punk Rock Flea Market. Each show has helped him grow his audience, gain confidence in his brand, and refine what resonates most with his customers.

A COLLABORATION IN GOLD

Here at Screen Printing Northwest, we’ve had the pleasure of bringing five of Matt’s standout designs to life so far. Most recently, he experimented with our metallic gold ink for his latest design, Unlucky Cat—a choice that added depth, shine, and personality to the final piece. The result? A sharp, eye-catching shirt that perfectly captures his creative vision and stands out on the rack.

“I can now safely assume that my shirt sales will make any event I do well worth my time,” Matt shared. “While I have smaller items like stickers and keychains, my best sellers are always my shirts.”

Looking ahead, the future for AloeGator Arts is full of momentum. Matt has several upcoming shows and conventions already on the calendar for the end of the year and is excited to continue expanding his collection. He plans to restock his most popular designs while also experimenting with new concepts and bold ideas, including one he’s especially eager to see printed on one of our olive green shirts.

We’ve truly loved collaborating with Matt and supporting his journey as a growing artist and small business owner. Helping creatives bring their work into the world and onto something people can wear, share, and connect over is at the heart of what we do.
